WOW! What a fun time we had on Sunday at the Holiday Inn HBG West! We were featured on the main stage and had a chance to meet a TON of future brides. It was really cool to see how each bride had their own vision of what their wedding would be like and it was just as cool to be able to offer them more information on our services and how we can help them.

Memories for a Lifetime 2009 Bridal Show

July Recap and Updates!

Wow, I am horrible at keeping this updated! I am sorry for the delay in updates and my new goal is to do at least one update a week! I WILL stick to it and if I don't please yell at me.

So July was a busy month for MUP and we can't thank you for the support. We rocked a ton of weddings and Chris did an awesome graduation party.

Check out the recap video from just a couple of the weddings from July and keep checking back as we continue to add more and more videos to our blog.

Looking forward: We look forward to the rest of the August events and know every single one of them will be a ton of fun. We are also about to start throwing out holiday party promotions so if your company has a holiday themed party near the end of the year and you need a DJ please let us know! We have some really cool ideas to offer our clients for these type of events and are excited to see how they work!

June Weddings

I can't believe June is already over! We had an amazing time this month with brides and their guests. Maggie, Matt, Marissa, Tammy, Kristin you were all awesome to work with. We had the chance to also work with some great vendors! A special thanks to the Peter Allen House, Four Points Sheraton, Harrisburg Hilton, The Budleigh (Outer Banks) and the Susquehanna Club in New Cumberland. 

Congratulations once again to all of our couples and we hope you had/have a great honeymoon!

Prom Season!

I wanted to take this time to thank everyone at Solanco High School for an amazing prom! We had so much fun spinning at the party and the Class of 2009 was there to party! The floor stayed packed all night long. Thanks again Solanco, hope to see you guys soon!

Big News!

I really need to update this blog more often! Okay, so here's the latest.

1. Mixed-Up Productions is now accepting PayPal and credit cards!! WooHoo! I know, finally. So when it comes to paying your retainer fee or the balance it can be done all online. Easy right?

2. We are adding a new member to the Mixed-Up family. My wife (Joanna) and I are expecting our 1st child coming in December!!!! Yay! We are so excited and can not wait to share stories and pics when the baby comes! This baby will come out with a mic in hand and will be DJing parties by age 3!

3. April is done and it was a great month! May is here and it's kicking into busy season for us. I finally got a new video editing software so we will be able to post some more video's on the site for you to check out.

March Is Done!

So March came quick and is now over. This is the kick off to the busy season, which we are ready for. Yes it was nice to have a little break in Jan/Feb, but Chris, Ronnie and I are ready to get back out there for some parties.

March 14 - Chris was the DJ for an event for AFSCME Council 13. The ladies LOVED Chris and he had the floor packed as well! It was held at the beautiful Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. Chris and I are back there again in April for another AFSCME event and can't wait. They know how to PARTY!!!!

March 28 - I had the pleasure of DJing Mindy and James wedding at Allenberry Playhouse in Boiling Springs. It was my first wedding of the season and I had a blast. The floor was packed all night long and they were loving it. Mindy looked amazing and all the guests were ready to let loose. What A Day!

So today was a big day at the Holiday Inn, West for the big bridal show. The day started early around 8am for load in and ended around 3pm. We met so many brides today and such a blast!

Today we offered two great deals, one of them was our deposit special which was only $100.00 to book instead of the usual $250.00. Fresh Start To A New Year!

Here We Go...

Wow...I can't believe how fast 2008 went. To some, it seemed like it took forever but to me it flew! How is that possible? I think it's due to the fact that 2008 was a great year for our company. We added 2 more DJ's (Chris and Ronnie) to the mix, we've made some great connections with other companies and of course made a ton of new friends.

To all of our newly married couples, we can't thank you enough for letting us be with you on your big day. We truly hope you had as much fun as we did for your wedding. Every wedding we did in 2008 was different and unique in it's own way and that was remarkable. I love being able to play a song at a reception and know there's a special meaning to each song that makes people get out on the floor and just let loose. The dance floor is the one place where you can forget about everything in life and just have fun!! Sure, some of us may LOOK good doing it but it doesn't matter, we're having fun :).

Someone asked me the other day "What are your plans for 2009?" I told them a whole heck of a lot of dancing! In 2009, we want to spread the word about our company and prove that we truly love what we do and we love to make people dance, it's that simple.

On behalf of everyone at Mixed-Up Productions, let me be the first to say Thank you for making 2008 such an amazing year for us and here's to 2009!
